This time we’re checking out the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site in lovely Baddeck.

Most of the museum, however, is dedicated to the great number of things Mr Bell experimented with, such as a hardier sheep:

There’s a lot to learn at the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site about the contributions he and his family made to the local area and the world.
Alexander Graham Bell was quoted as saying, “I have traveled around the globe. I have seen the Canadian and American Rockies, the Andes, the Alps, and the Highlands of Scotland, but for simple beauty, Cape Breton out rivals them all.”
Keep this quote in mind as you sit outside the museum:
Oh! And when you are looking in to Mr Bell’s office, take a look at the owl, ask one of the staff about it. The meaning and origin, if you don’t know, may surprise you.
