Although the parking lot is non-descript the walk along the approximately 1.6km of trail is not.

Several interpretive signs let you know about the importance of wetlands and some of the inhabitants there.

One of the many informational signs

The beauty of a wetland park such as this is getting the chance to be around an ecosystem most never get to experience but are critical to our world.

It’s also a great place for birders to grab a few shots!

The Brookfield Wetland and Nature Trail is a great place to visit several times a year to see the changes in the wetlands as well as the variety of birds as they migrate or nest.

It’s also a nice little oasis to sit and relax.
