Anthony Park

The Place: Anthony Park near Lower Selma, Hants County. (thanks Carolyn Harvie!)

The Treasure: This is a cute little park that we found while out driving around last weekend. One of those ‘ let’s drive here’ days.

Anthony Park is situated on the shore of the Bay of Fundy. We didn’t know it went right to the water until we parked and took a short walk through a wooded path. Once there it opened up to a terrific view of the powerful tides from a rock beach.

The park itself had ample seating, washroom facilities, parking and signs. This park had a lot of signs. 🙂

It also has several bbq areas with charcoal pits, something we don’t recall seeing too often.

Last thing we noticed was on the way out. There are a few very large apple trees. Likely crab apple, it started to rain hard so we didn’t get pictures of them… guess we’ll have to go back again. 😉
